CharmMap is a directory for companionship and erotic services and is therefore an offering for adults only. Anyone under 18 may not access this site, post content, or create an account.

On your first visit, a minimum-age notice appears that you have to confirm. Your browser remembers that confirmation in a cookie (age_ok); it never leaves your device.

How parents can block the site — the most effective first

A confirmation dialog on a website is well meant, but a determined teenager clicks it away. What actually works is a block on the device or in the network. That is why we are machine-readably labelled for those programs:

1. RTA label

Every page of CharmMap sends the internationally standardised RESTRICTED TO ADULTS label:

Youth-protection software, routers with content filters and operating-system parental controls read this label and block the site automatically. You do not have to configure anything with us — the label is already there, the program only has to read it.

2. Youth-protection software

• JusProg — the German youth-protection program recognised under § 11 JMStV, free for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
• Screen Time (Apple) or Family Link (Google) — already built into the operating system; enable content restrictions for adult websites.
• Router filters — most home routers ship with parental controls that cover every device in the household at once.

3. A practical note

A block on the router covers Wi-Fi, not a phone's mobile data. For gapless protection you need both: a filter in the router and parental controls on the device.

What we do ourselves

• No content involving minors. Any indication of an age under 18 — in an age field, in a text, in an image — halts publication immediately and triggers a separate, prioritised human review. The listing concerned is hidden in the meantime.
• No pornographic depictions. CharmMap shows portrait and advertising images, not explicit sexual acts.
• No advertising. No third-party ad networks run on CharmMap through which unvetted content could arrive.
• No search-engine indexing of unclaimed listings. Nobody stumbles across this content without looking for it deliberately.
• A reporting route for everyone. Every listing has a report function usable without an account.

Suspicion of minors or coercion — please report immediately

If you come across a listing where you suspect a minor is involved, or that someone is not acting voluntarily, please report it at once:

Such reports are handled outside the normal queue. The listing is hidden without delay, before anything else happens. A suspicion is entirely enough; you do not have to prove or document anything.

If there is a listing about you on CharmMap that you did not want, you need no justification and no proof. Go straight here: Request profile removal. We remove it permanently — it does not reappear on later automated runs.

We follow the German Interstate Treaty on the Protection of Minors in the Media (JMStV) and the Protection of Young Persons Act (JuSchG). Providers are additionally bound by the Terms of use; data processing is described in the Privacy policy.
