Terms of use

0. In three sentences

CharmMap is a directory, not an agency. We display information; we negotiate nothing, we take no cut, and we are not party to any arrangement. Anyone under 18 may not use the site.

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the website charmmap.com and all services reachable under it ("CharmMap"). They apply to every group of users: visitors, providers with their own listing, and account holders.

By accessing the site you accept these terms. Diverging terms apply only if we expressly agree to them in text form.

2. What CharmMap is — and is not

CharmMap is a directory. We present listings about companionship, erotic and related services in a structured, findable form.

CharmMap is expressly not:

• an agency, intermediary or broker,
• a party to any contract between users and providers,
• a payment service or escrow agent,
• an organiser of, operator of, or participant in any arrangement.

Every agreement, every service and every payment happens solely between the people involved. We receive nothing from it, learn nothing about it, and are not liable for it.

3. Free and ad-free

Use is free for visitors. Posting a listing is free. We run no third-party advertising.

The only paid element is an optional highlight for your own listing. It changes placement in lists only — never the content, and never the order of a search by factual criteria. Highlighted listings are marked as such.

4. Minimum age

Use of CharmMap is reserved for persons aged 18 and over. Anyone younger may neither access the site nor post content. By using it you confirm that you are of age and that adult content is permitted where you are. See Youth protection.

5. Account

No account is needed to read the directory. One is needed for your own listing, for reviews and for favourites.

• The details you give when registering must be accurate.
• Credentials must be kept secret and not shared.
• One account per person.
• If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us at [email protected] and change your password.

You can delete your account at any time. This also removes your listings, favourites and saved searches.

6. Your own listings — what you warrant

Anyone posting or claiming a listing warrants, for every item of content:

1. Age of majority — the person depicted and described is at least 18 years old.
2. Rights — you are entitled to use the texts and images, and that use infringes no copyright, trade mark or personality rights of third parties.
3. Consent — depicted persons have consented to publication. Images of other people without their consent are not permitted.
4. Voluntariness — the service is offered self-determined and free of coercion.
5. Lawfulness — the offer is permitted where you are, and you meet the obligations applicable there (in Germany, for instance, registration under the Prostitutes Protection Act).
6. Accuracy — details about the person, services and prices are correct and current.

You grant us the non-exclusive, royalty-free, territorially unrestricted right to display your content in order to operate and promote the directory. That right ends when the content is deleted. The rights in your content remain yours.

7. Prohibited content and conduct

All of the following is prohibited — no gradations, no warning, no exceptions:

• Content showing, describing or even implying minors.
• Content indicating coercion, trafficking or exploitation.
• Content about people without their consent, including private recordings and the disclosure of other people's contact details ("outing", "doxxing").
• Violent, non-consensual or bestiality depictions of any kind.
• Offers that are criminal where you are.
• Other people's identities, faked images, AI forgeries of real people.
• Automated harvesting of the directory, circumvention of technical protections, bulk requests, attacks on availability.
• Harassment, threats, extortion and incitement against other users.

Safety rules are blockers, not recommendations. Any indication of an age below 18 or of coercion halts publication immediately and triggers a separate review — regardless of whether the listing is otherwise complete.

8. Listings from public sources

Some listings originate from publicly accessible directories. They are visibly marked, carry noindex (so they do not appear in search engines) and accept no reviews.

If such a listing concerns you, you have two routes, both free and without an account:

• Claim it — you confirm the phone number on file, the listing is then yours, you can edit it, and you decide on its visibility.
• Have it removed — via Request profile removal. We act on it without follow-up questions, and the listing does not reappear on later automated runs.

9. Reviews

Reviews are possible only on claimed listings and require an account. They must be based on your own actual experience. Bought, traded, invented or self-written reviews are prohibited, as are detailed descriptions of sexual acts.

We remove reviews that break these rules. There is no entitlement to have a review published.

10. Moderation, suspension, termination

We may review, hide or delete content and suspend accounts where these terms are breached or where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach. Where minors or coercion are suspected, this happens immediately and before any hearing.

We inform you of a suspension and its reason as far as we are legally able to. You can challenge a decision informally at [email protected]; we will review it again.

Either side may end the user relationship at any time, without notice and without giving reasons. For you, deleting the account is enough.

11. Availability

We aim for continuous operation but do not owe it. Maintenance, faults and circumstances beyond our control may interrupt the service. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability, and none to the retention of posted content — keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.

12. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and in the cases covered by the Product Liability Act.

For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation — an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely — and then limited in amount to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.

Third-party content: listings, images and reviews come from users or from external sources. We do not check them for accuracy in advance and give no warranty for them. As a service provider we are responsible for third-party content only once we have knowledge of a specific infringement (Art. 6 DSA, §§ 7 ff. DDG). We act without delay upon a justified notice.

External links and images: for content that comes from a third-party server via a link or image address, only that server's operator is responsible.

13. Reporting content

Anyone can report unlawful or non-compliant content — via the report function on the listing, or by email to [email protected].

• For copyright and trade marks there is a dedicated, formalised route: DMCA & copyright.
• For listings that concern you, Request profile removal is the fastest route.
• Reports concerning minors or coercion are handled with priority, outside the normal queue.

14. Highlighting, payment, withdrawal

For the paid highlight the following also applies:

• Price and term are shown before purchase. All prices include statutory VAT.
• The service starts when payment is received and ends automatically when the term expires. There is no automatic renewal.
• Right of withdrawal for consumers: you may withdraw within 14 days without giving reasons. The period starts when the contract is concluded. Withdrawal is informal, addressed to [email protected]; "I withdraw" is enough.
• Early expiry: if you expressly request that the highlight begin before the withdrawal period ends, your right of withdrawal lapses upon full performance; on partial performance you owe proportionate compensation.
• If a listing is suspended for a breach of section 7, no refund is due.

15. Indemnity

If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you posted, you indemnify us against the resulting claims and the necessary costs of legal defence — unless you are not responsible for the breach.

16. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms where the legal situation, case law or the scope of functions changes. Account holders are informed by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not object before it takes effect, the new version is deemed accepted; we point this out separately in the notice. If you do object, you may end your account without notice.

17. Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory protective provisions of their state of residence remain unaffected.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of the contract stays in force.
